Back with a blast - celebrating the start of our 2024 season

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the start of our 2024 season. It was great to see so many of you there, including lots of familiar faces. As is tradition, we started our new season with a blast of the Sumburgh Foghorn, assisted by Retained Lightkeeper, Brian Johnson, and our competition winners.
After the Foghorn Sounding, everyone made a bee-line to our new Observatory for a brew with a view, with tasty traybakes from Jillian at Picnic Press.
Our opening event would not have been possible without the help of colleagues from Shetland Amenity Trust, Helen from RSPB Shetland, and Brian Johnson. Thank you for making it such a super day!
