There are several webcams around the cliffs at Sumburgh Head which give us a close and unobtrusive insight into the lives of the birds who live there.
The popular 'PuffinCam' was the original burrow camera. Sadly, this particular burrow was not inhabited for the 2014 summer season, but with the addition of new Cliff Cams and external Burrow Cams, including night vision views, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the birdlife.
The Simmer Dim Cam overlooks Fitful Head and provides stunning sunset views. The Guillemot Cam is another new addition, giving close-up views of the Guillemot colony on the large rock below Sumburgh Head.
