PuffinCam

Webcams have been in position at Sumburgh Head for a number of years now, courtesy of Promote Shetland.

Every summer the ‘puffincam’ follows the story of a puffin family from egg laying to hatching and fledging of the young puffin.  This puffincam is proudly sponsored by RSBP Scotland.

Other cameras on site allow web viewers to experience the awesome views from the clifftops to the crashing waves below, or the stunning vista out over Sumburgh.  Webcams will be available subject to funding being available from 2012.

Visit www.SHETLAND.org to view the webcams, courtesy of Promote Shetland.
